"The Decollation of Jonathan Jones" by D. Udaiyan 2010
This painting was originally conceived by Andreas Gentet, one of the leading members of the cambridge stuckists. But then we decided that it didn't quite fit the ethos of anti-conceptualism. So then I reworked it as follows:
In this painting we celebrate two legends of the modern world. Jonathan Jones the renowned art critic being metaphysically decapitated by the cricketing legend Curtley Ambrose. Thus neatly imposing our stuckist mindset on the general state of art as we see it.
